Family
The family is the first church: where faith is spoken at the table, where love is practiced when it is hard, and where the next generation first learns the face of Christ. The diocese calls us to prepare couples for the lifelong covenant of marriage, to enrich the marriages already among us, and to walk with families—especially in the quiet strength of rural life—toward a culture of life. When households are strengthened, the parish is strengthened; when the domestic church is alive, the Kingdom is already at the door.
