Confraternity of Christian Doctrine

CCD is the older name for the work of teaching the faith to those who are not in Catholic schools. The name itself recalls a confraternity — a body of the faithful dedicated to Christian doctrine.

In this parish the work continues under both names. Whether called PSR or CCD, the substance is the same: the careful, patient handing on of what the Church believes and lives.

The calendar of classes and the preparation for First Communion and Confirmation belong to the life of the whole parish, not only to the children who attend.
