Prayer

Prayer is the living relationship of the children of God with their Father, with His Son Jesus Christ, and with the Holy Spirit. It is not first a technique or a duty, but a conversation begun by God Himself — He speaks, and we answer.

The Church hands on many forms of prayer: the liturgy, the Our Father, the psalms, the rosary, silent adoration, and the quiet turning of the heart throughout the day. All of them lead to the same place — communion with the God who first loved us.
